The Original King of all Evil, Morton Sr. was feared by all because of his outragous strength, an evil sadistic mind, and an army like no other. Morton was even more evil than Ganondorf, Bowser, Black Shadow, and all of the Nintendo villains combined, three times! Yes, he was that evil. He was so evil that the Mushroom Kingdom citizens even wondered if he could be even more evil than the Devil King Shin Ruymaou himself. His favorite pastime was going down to the dungeon and torturing his prisoners to death. If any managed to survive, he'd send them to the execution room and kill them himself.
Morton forced Kamek to work for him by threatening to kill his sister Kammy. Of course the great wizard submitted to Mortin's threats. Members of the Koopa Klan wondered what Morton's wife even saw in him, but the truth is that Morton's wife was forced to marry him because he wanted a son or daughter to continue his evil reign in case he was killed.
Morton made many enemies thougthout his life, including Mario and Luigi's father and uncle, but unlike Bowser, Morton could beat the older Marios with the greatest of ease and was the cause of their deaths. He finally met his match in a younger The Master, who demanded a one-on-one match. Just before The Master could finish Morton with his signature attack (the three-punch knockout), Morton pulled out a sword hidden in his shell and slashed The Master's side, severely injuring him. Morton then lifted The Master by the htorat and uppercut off the cliff on which they'd fought. The Master was lucky to survive; he fell in a river.
Although victorious, Morton's close victory over The Master soon resulted in his demise at the hands of The Mushroom King. A pupil of and best friend to The Master, The Mushroom King was enraged at what Morton had done and demanded a one-on-one battle. Mortin turned to him and said, "It'll be your funeral." The two pulled out their swords and charged at each other. Morton was stronger but The Mushroom king was faster. The battle lasted for five hours until The Mushroom King was struck in the arm by Mortin's sword and fell in great pain. Morton laughed and said, "Well I told you it'll be your funeral, and after I'm done with you maybe I'll go to the Mushroom Kingdom and kill your wife."
As Morton started to laugh again, The Mushroom King stood up with fire in his eyes and without making a sound leaped into the air and planted his sword into Morton's black heart. Morton was left standing in great pain, shocked by what had just happened. He couldn't believe that The Mushroom King had just done He looked down at The Mushroom King and said, "You may have killed me, but what are you going to do if my son comes to your pathetic kingdom?" He then fell down and died, and his soul went to the Underworld and was tortured by the Devil King Himself.
The Mushroom King left the battle site without any fear because he had just destroyed the only enemy the Mushroom Kingdom ever had. The kingdom enjoyed prosperity and peace until Bowser invaded years later.
