(The camera opens to show Leah sitting in her chair and wearing a scarf.)
Lakitu: W-why is it s-so c-c-cold in here?
(Lakitu looks at the audience to see everyone is wearing scarves and other warm pieces of clothing.)
Leah: We have a very special guest today and he likes the cold, so I turned the temperature down to ten degrees.
Lakitu: It’s m-making my c-cloud s-s-snow…
Leah: If you stop whining I’ll give you a raise.
(Lakitu quickly flies over to his place behind the camera, leaving a trail of snow behind.)
Leah: Now, everyone welcome the owner of Lemmy’s Land and Ice Land’s White Ice Castle, Lemmy!
(Lemmy rolls in through the doors, the audience clapping loudly. He sits down in the chair across from Leah.)
Leah: Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule with running your Land to let me interview you.
Lemmy: No problem at all. I got someone to help out while I was gone anyway.
In Lemmy’s control room...
(Ludwig is sitting at Lemmy’s desk, watching some monitors and pressing some buttons. He presses a rather large red button and the power goes out in Lemmy’s CD’s.)
Ludwig: Oopsie…
Back at the studio...
Leah: All right, first question. Why do you always roll around on your ball everywhere you go?
Lemmy: Well, before I was able to finish learning how to walk, I was given a ball as a present. I took to riding on it for fun, and I eventually mastered rolling on it, so I never fully mastered walking.
Leah: Very interesting. In Super Mario Bros. 3, when you fought Mario and Luigi, how did the balls you threw hurt them?
Lemmy: Well, the materials I used for them were really rough and would scratch the Bros. when they rubbed against them.
Leah: Very clever! Following the subject for a bit, how come they were just fine jumping on the balls?
Lemmy: This might be a little obvious, but the soles of their shoes are very thick and the roughness of the balls didn’t have any effect.
Leah: I should have guessed that much. How did y-
(Leah is cut off as a piece of ice breaks from the ceiling of the studio and falls on her head.)
Leah: Ouch… Anyways, how did you get your nickname Hip in the Mario cartoons?
Lemmy: When Nintendo was making the cartoons, they wanted to make Iggy and I as twin-ish as possible, so they gave us the names Hip and Hop which go together to make a type of music.
Leah: All right, time is almost up, so that means audience questions! Seat number 999!
Koops: How come you are always cross-eyed? No offense of course.
Lemmy: None taken. I’m not really trying to cross them, I was born with a lazy eye and it makes me appear this way.
Leah: Seat number 808.
Bowser: Why aren’t you in the dungeon for freezing my room with your stupid freeze ray?
Lemmy: Umm…
(Leah presses the green button on her remote, causing Bowser to fall into a pit.)
Leah: That reminds me, I still need to get Wendy and Iggy out of there… Oh well, seat number 214.
Phanto: Why do you like the cold to much?
Lemmy: Well, I didn’t really care for it much at first, but the long time I spent in Ice Land waiting for the Mario Bros. helped me get used to it, then it slowly turned into a love of it.
Leah: We only have time for one last question, seat number 10.
Luigi: How come in Mario is Missing you decided to play in the snow instead of help your family?
Lemmy: Well we had just been beaten by Mario and his Super Scope and we were very tired. I didn’t feel like fighting, so I decided to sneak out of the castle to take advantage of Earth’s soft snow.
Leah: Why aren’t you in pain yet?
Luigi: Umm…
(Leah presses the black button on her remote, causing a Thwomp to fall on Luigi.)
Leah: Thank you for answering my questions, Lemmy.
Lemmy: It was my pleasure.
Lakitu: C-can w-w-we turn the h-heater on n-now?
Leah: Sure, but I’m too lazy to get up, so you do it.
(Lakitu tries to move, but his eye is stuck to the camera. He pulls the camera over and it falls on top of him.)
Lakitu: E-end t-t-transmission…
