Fred was abandoned by his parents when he was 2 years old. He lived in a dumpster for 8 years. One day the Koopalings, Clawdia, and Bowser were on a walk. Morton, as usual, was looking for someone to talk to. While he was looking, he saw a little mole (Fred) in a dumpster. Morton took him home. Morton named him Fred and gave him a blue baseball hat. Morton then taught Fred how to talk. Pretty soon, Fred was as clean as ever and was even potty-trained. Fred is the only person who can truly tolerate Morton�s talking, and no one knows how he can do it. Fred has recently been made the sous-chef in castle Koopa, often cooking for the Koopa Family.
