The Goomba King, as you may know, was not always as big or as kingly as you remember. No, he was born as a common Goomba, only smaller and very whiny. His name was Chad. All the other Goombas would bully him on a daily basis. He even grew a mustache so people wouldn't recognize him, but it didn't work.

Chad eavesdropped on other Goombas one night, and heard that Bowser had stolen something of great power, called the Star Rod. Chad was tired of being pushed around, so he decided to go find Bowser.

He ran night and day 'til he found Bowser. At this time, he was extremely tired, but still managed to ask Bowser to make him powerful. Bowser refused, so Chad kept on pestering him. Finally Bowser had had enough, so he granted Chad's request, turning him into a big king.

He rushed back to Goomba Village and beat up the Goombas who had once picked on him. He then recruited the strongest Goombas he could find, one who was red, and one who was blue. Then the Goomba King got to thinking, "Hey, I'm a king now. A king's got to have a castle!" So, he and his two lackeys stole the bridge to Toad Town, and using the powers of paper and glue, turned it into a castle the same day. However, the Goomba King also created a switch that would return the bridge to normal, so he could go back to Toad Town if need be.

He then heard from other Goombas that a guy named Mario had fallen in Goomba Village. This was sort of good news. Bowser had said that he would have to beat a guy named Mario, or he would take away his powers. He sent out his lackeys to finish him off, but they returned, beaten.

The Goomba King then awaited this Mario's arrival. He then fought with his tired lackeys outside his castle. He might have won too, if Mario hadn't hit a Goomnut Tree, sending a giant nut on top of the Goomba King's head.

After being beaten, the Goomba King retreated back into his fortress, but soon realized his mistake. He had forgotten to dispose of the switch he had built! When Mario hit this switch, the castle turned back into the bridge, and the Goomba King was sent flying through the air, 'til he hit a mountain.

The Goomba King has not been heard of since. Some say that he lost his powers and returned to normal after hitting the mountain so hard. Some say after Bowser lost the Star Rod, his powers automatically vanished. But, some recent reports say that the Goomba King still has his powers, and joined the circus.

Goomba King was born in Goomba Village and lived with his older brother Goomboss. One day Goomboss was called to serve in the Koopa Clan by Bowser. So Goomba King was left alone. He stayed in school but was always picked on, and picked last for games. He dreamed of being a king someday. He left school and went traveling the Mushroom Kingdom.

One day he was drafted to be in Bowser’s army. Bowser stole the Star Rod and turned him into a king and assigned to guard the bridge that connects Goomba Village to Toad Town. He recruited the bullies that bullied him and told them to block Mario’s progress through Goomba Road. He then found the Goomba Bros. and sent them after Mario, but he beat them both and they went back to the king. Goomba King was left with no choice but to fight Mario himself. After a long battle he lost and crashed into the mountain.

Today he lives in Goomba Village and is friends with Goombario and his family. He is still a king.

Goomba King is the King of Goombas and has his own castle as well. He lives there with two Goombas that are Red and Blue. He makes them guard the front of his castle because he hates people bugging him about things. One day Mario and Goombario came and Red and Blue lost to them. They went to Goomba King and told him what had happened, and Goomba King went on to fight the Marios. Even though Bowser gave him powers, Goomba King was still weak. He lost to Mario and his castle blew up thanks to Mario. Goomba King wanted revenge so he stole Mario when Bowser hired him again in Super Mario DS. He lost to Yoshi, and since then no one knows what evil plans or maybe good plans he is making today... maybe getting revenge on Mario or Yoshi? Well I bet we will see Goomba King in the near future.

History: Goomba King was once a normal Goomba. He was picked on because he was weak. Once Bowser got ahold of the Star Rod Goomba King rushed towards him. He begged Bowser to make him a king. Bowser decided he could become a king if he swore his loyalty to him. Goomba King agreed and Bowser turned him big. Goomboss decided to make the bridge to Toad Town into a fortress. Goomba King needed henchmen. Goomba King saw a Red Goomba and a Blue Goomba. He asked them if they wanted to be his henchmen. They said yes and they became the Goomba Bros. Later Mario came and defeated Goomba King. He got launched away and landed in a tree, as seen in the parade. Goomba King has made two other appearances, both as a boss. He was then called Goomboss. He made his two other appearances in MKDS and SM64DS. Who knows what Goomba King is doing now? I don’t care, now let’s go on to the next boss, shall we?
