Mario may not know it, but Count Bleck is still alive! After what happened at the end of Super Paper Mario, Bleck was happy living with Timpani in the unknown place they were last seen in, but of course, true love never lasts. Timpani, who was not yet used to her newly reformed human body, grew sick, and eventually perished for good. Bleck, of coarse, lost everything. He once again came to the decision of destroying all existence. But the Dark Prognosticus was gone, so there was no hope of restoring the Void or the Chaos Heart. He needed help. The only villain he could think of that was willing to participate was one of the so-called “heroes” that helped to defeat Bleck himself. Bowser was clearly stronger than him and they both knew it. Bleck somehow found his way to Plit and into Dark Land. He joined the Koopa Klan and began helping to recruit new members. Bowser was highly impressed by the job Bleck was doing and he soon promoted him to general status. He may still be working in secret, but he has had a big influence on the quality of Bowser minions. Though, deep down in his heart, he knows that what he is doing is wrong, and that Timpani wouldn’t want things to be this way. But he has nothing left to be happy for and this is all that he can do…
