FAWFUL AND BOOM interview BUMPTY PENGUIN

By Fawful Koopa

Fawful: Time for a Christmas special!

Boom: Aww… He’s my favorite character…

Fawful: Here’s our interviewee, Bumpty Penguin!

(Bumpty enters.)

Boom: Why are you so bouncy?

Bumpty: We bounce around because of Ludwig.

Fawful: What do you mean?

Bumpty: We used to be like the Pangys from Kirby games, but Ludwig experimented with us until we were turned bouncy.

Boom: Why don’t you attack Yoshis?

Bumpty: We are your friends. We just bump you back on accident.

Fawful: If you’re Ludwig’s invention, why don’t you spontaneously combust?

Bumpty: Everyone knows that we’re too cute for that!

Boom: Why are all the ones in Yoshi’s Island blue, while others can have different colors like green and purple?

Bumpty: The ones in Yoshi’s Island are truebred. The others ones are usually a mix of Yoshi too. The Yoshi skin color is a recessive gene, so hybrids can still be blue. Usually the Yoshi hybrids can talk, too.

Boom: Oh, that’s why the Paper Mario ones have longer beaks. Why don’t they show more resemblance to Yoshis?

Bumpty: Most Yoshi genes are recessive, so most babies will be Bumpties. There is, however, a small chance that when two hybrid Bumpties breed that the baby will be Yoshi (1/16).

Fawful: Why are we branching off into Bumptelean genetics?

Boom: I don’t know. Audience questions! Seat 8.

Ludwig: Why must my creation be cute?

Bumpty: Well, we have to adapt to our huge fanbase!

Fawful: Seat 100.

Wario: How rich are most Bumpties?

Bumpty: Not very, unless they are from Poshley Heights, like me!

(Wario mobs him.)

Wario: Mwahahaha!

Bumpty’s Fanbase: Get him!

Wario: End transmission!
