One Extra Boss

By The Mighty Goomba
After just obtaining the 121st Star in Mario Galaxy, Mario wiped his hair.

Mario: Phew! I don’t have to do anything anymore! There was no evil anywhere, with Bowser fighting against some black hole somewhere, and no other villain setting their eyes on Outer Space ever since the news of what happened reached the Mushroom Kingdom. There was nothing to do for a week, because that’s when a spaceship would take him down to the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario at first welcomed the break, but as time went on, he got more and more bored. He then came up with an idea. Mario plotted his scheme on paper, and then made a list of his materials. His list of materials said:

1 Computer Data Chip 1 Computer Virus 1 Double X Battery 1 Memory Wiping Device 3 Holographic Projectors 1 Electricity-Absorbing Device 1 Professor E. Gadd

Mario: I’m-a going to create my own boss fight!

Mario entered Rosalina’s office and told her he needed the professor. She, of course, had no idea of his scheme. The professor was transported to the Kitchen. He walked out and went up to Mario.

Professor E. Gadd: What do you need me for?

Mario: I-a need you to create a computer virus, a memory-wiping device, an electricity-absorbing device, and three holographic projectors.

Professor E. Gadd: What do you need these for?

Mario: It doesn’t matter. Just-a get to work!

The professor set to work. While he was working, Mario went out to buy a computer data chip and a Double X battery. Three days later, the professor called Mario into the Garage.

Mario: Nice work!!! Could you install the virus in this computer chip, please?

Professor E. Gadd: Sure!

In about 5 seconds the virus was installed. Then the two climbed up to the center room, where the main computer was. Mario put the Electricity-Absorbing Device in the computer disc slot. He then attached the holographic projectors around the computer. He then took the virus-installed computer chip and entered it into the data slot.

Professor E. Gadd: Wait! What are you doing?!

The projectors flashed. The entire spaceship froze up. The virus went through the computer, and got to the projectors. Then the projectors produced a huge, electric monster that was anything but holographic. It stood facing the computer. and blinked. The screen went blank.

Professor E. Gadd: Is that a virus, in monster form? You’re actually a villain, aren’t you?! Why would you do this, you double-crossing plumber?!

Mario: Simply, to have a little fun.

Mario pointed the memory-wiping device straight at E. Gadd. There was a click, and his eyes turned orange. He blinked and stared at the monster.

Professor E. Gadd: What is that thing?!

Mario: I don’t know, Professor! I was just getting ready to attack it!

Professor E. Gadd: By all means, do it!

Mario hit the virus with a Fire Flower. The monster roared and flung a bolt at Mario. He dodged it, and raised his hand for another strike. He then bounced off the monster and flung it through the air. He pulled out a Starman and covered himself in the invincible coating. Then he ran towards the monster at high speed. The thing fell, and then exploded.

Professor E. Gadd: Great job! You are the most powerful person in the world! And I know that you’d never do anything against me ever!

Mario smiled.

Mario: Whatever you say, Professor!
