A Profound Story

By Lemmy Koopa

The tall, blue pillars stood alone together, space separating them from the entire rest of the world... if there even was more of the world than was there. They appeared to have been that way since the dawn of time, and certainly would stay that way until its end.

As if the end of an eon had come, a large dark shadow suddenly covered a part of the tower... a black smudge on perfection. The shadow grew larger and larger, then a figure could be seen. It was larger than a mountain, a planet even, but there it was, approaching the uncaring stones.

And then, as if possessing the power of all the supernatural beings combined, the figure started moving the blocks around- some new blocks even appeared from out of nowhere, it seemed. Yet, the structure seemed unharmed, better in fact, even though it had previously been perfect.

As quickly as it began, the creature stood up, apparently satisfied with what it had done. Then it made the loudest sound the world had ever heard: "Enjoy the update!"

Back in Lemmy's Land, Lemmy made ready to go to bed, his update complete.

The End
