A Koopaling older than Morton was dead. The body was cold after being dead for so long. Another Koopaling took it upon him- or herself to solve the mystery— Who had killed their sibling? The Koopaling decided to interrogate their siblings.

The first Koopa questioned said that they didn’t know anything. The Koopaling detective replied, “You’re really helpful. I thought I would get a great clue from you, and… nothing.”

The Koopaling in question replied, “Leave now, or I’ll pummel you.”

Looking at how much bigger the first Koopaling was than they were, the Koopaling detective left. “So much for that Koopaling,” he/she thought.

The Koopaling now continued down the row of rooms to the room of a sibling younger than the first. Upon hearing of the death, the Koopaling in question said, “I don’t know, Big Bro. I’m really sorry to hear that. I’ll come along with you. Maybe we can figure this out.”

The Koopaling detective now left with his/her sibling, looking into the room of a Koopa with some form of glasses.

The Koopaling in question, after hearing of their sibling’s death, replied, “I vaguely saw a Koopaling who, at one point, had some sort of blue or pink on them, run down the hall with a knife. I then heard screaming. I ran away here to hide, but first saw a bloody knife lying on the ground. But I thought it was over, so I came out.”

The Koopalings were worried. They were more than halfway done with questioning, bit they knew almost nothing. The detective was angry. In his/her anger, the detective barged into the next Koopa’s room, making him/her lose his/her perch. “Ow!” yelled the Koopa. “Whadda you want?”

The detective replied, “Our sibling is dead, and we wanna know who did it.”

The fourth Koopaling said, “I think the murderer was older than the victim.”

The fifth Koopaling said, “The murderer has alvays had a vorld that’s neither first nor last. And no glasses. The murderer had no glasses.”

The detective Koopaling then stopped. “We have enough clues,” he/she said.

Hint: No Koopaling is the answer to more than one of the questions, and no Koopaling is lying.
