"But Wendy, I bought you a brand-new dress last week!" Bowser cried.

"I don't care!" Wendy shouted. "If you don't love me enough to buy another one this week, then you must not like me at all!" With that, she turned and stormed out of the Throne Room.

Bowser sighed and sat down, shaking his head.

Wendy stomped upstairs to her room, went in, and locked the door. Unfortunately, that didn't stop her brothers. One of them was already hiding in her kitchen, awaiting an opportunity to blackmail her (again).  Another was in the living room, looking for something he thought Wendy had stolen from him. A third was climbing through the window in an attempt to retrieve a badly thrown baseball. A fourth had started breaking the lock with some sort of machine as soon as Wendy closed the door. A younger sibling was entering through a secret passageway, and the last brother was busy smashing things in Wendy's Trophy Room. It didn't take long for them to notice that their sister was in a nasty mood, and they all began to plot how to take advantage of it.

A Koopaling managed to open the door, and proceeded quickly to the bedroom. There, he opened a small vial containing a poisonous gas. As it entered the room, Wendy coughed and passed out. The Koopaling smiled and left.

Another Koopaling rushed into the bedroom, looked around, scratched his bald head, assumed Wendy was dead already, and went away, disappointed.

A third Koopaling entered the bedroom, aimed his magic wand, and laughed to himself.  He was just about to fire when he suddenly collapsed to the floor.

An older Koopaling, who had come in by an obvious route, chuckled to himself as he carefully stepped over his dead brother. He was about to kill his sister too, but he heard a noise and ran away.

The youngest remaining Koopaling came into the bedroom, thought everyone was dead, muttered to himself for several minutes, and left.

The last Koopaling entered the room, blasted Wendy with his wand, declared victory, and left.

Several hours later, the brothers still in the room revived and left. Several hours after that, a servant came in to clean the room. There was a scream, and Bowser came running. As he entered the room, he saw Wendy dead on the floor, with a note in her hand. It read:

Dear Daddy,

I guess you really don't love me. All I wanted was a dress, and you're the richest Koopa in the Mushroom Kingdom. But you wouldn't buy it, and I don't ever want to see you again. I'm going to shoot myself with my magic wand. Bye.

Looking around the room again, Bowser shook his head. "It wasn't a suicide," he declared. "Some one killed Wendy. And I know who it was."
