The Mario Surfer, Lemmy, Wendy, and Koopa The Quick decided to have a race.

In the begining, the only non-Koopa was ahead, but a flash of green, gold jewelry, and horse streaked by, so he speeded up and passed the blur again.

The smallest of the Koopas gained a lead by telling his opponants jokes that left them laughing too hard to move.

Once again the blur was way ahead of the others, except for the smallest Koopa.

The only non-Koopa teleported into the  lead.

The foot racing Koopa threw tacks behind him and teleported all the others behind him. One contestant’s ball popped, and one's horse came unshoed, but the other contestant flew over the tacks with ease to regain his lead. The Koopa who's ball popped kept running and then teleported a new ball under himself. The one with a horse quickly reshoed it and sped up faster than lightning.

The footracing Koopa and the un-Koopa were tied for first. Suddenly they saw a blur of green on green with yellow in the center pass them up. They looked at each other and noticed a forked path ahead. The blur of green went to the right. The foot-racer went to the left, and the un-Koopa went through the center to find a warp leading to two feet from the finish line.

Meanwhile the green, gold, and brown blur caught up with the foot racing Koopa.
On the left path there was a snowman in their path and the blur hurtled over it, but the foot racing Koopa was blown of the track and back to start.

The un-Koopa was about to win when a blur came by. It stopped in mid-step when all of them were transported back to start for foul play. The one who was in last was now in first, the one who was about to win was in third, the one who went through a warp was in second, and the one who hurtled over the snowman was in last.

Suddenly, someone pulled a gun and shot the person in the lead, but it ricocheted off and hit last place too.

The two people left raced ahead, leaving the others frozen behind. One changed shape to the fastest skier he could think of and skied way ahead, and then turned on his ultra power rockets.

The other person pulled ahead, but found himself teleported to Desert Land, which he couldn't stand. He teleported back just in time to see the other racer pull into first. He went for second and got it. The first to be frozen unfroze and took third, and the last was declared loser.
