One day, Ludwig was inventing in his lab. Suddenly, Bowser burst in through a conveniently-placed door. (A lot of things are conveniently placed, aren't they?)

Bowser: LUDWIG!

Ludwig: Ludwig von Koopa, inventor extreme, reporting for duty!

Bowser: A simple "hello" would've done fine. Anyway, I was on Ebay...

Ludwig: You're ALWAYS on Ebay, looking for some sort of doomsday machine. You found some sort of doomsday machine?

Bowser: No, I found a doomsmonth machine!

Ludwig: Uhg!

Bowser: And I found this guy!

Fawful: Mistress Cackletta of FURY abandoned Fawful on the Eness of Bays.

Ludwig: Are you going somewhere with this?

Bowser: I'd thought you'd be happy to get a competant assistant!

Ludwig: Assistant? This guy looks like he could barely pass walking!

Lemmy: I'll take that as an insult.

Fawful: Fawful's FURY will continue to spread his mustard of doom to the Wig of Ludness' inventions.

Ludwig: Mustard doesn't help!

Fawful: FURY!

Fawful suddenly creates a Banzai Ted (Banzai Bill + Torpedo Ted) and finishes the next seven inventions Ludwig was about to make, only they work.

Ludwig: You're hired!

Bowser: Great, I'll be expecting you to make a doomsyear machine! Have a good day.

Bowser leaves.

Fawful: What making are you doing in the inventive way?

Ludwig: A doomsyear machine!

Fawful: FURY!

Fawful creates a doomsyear machine. What that is, I'll never know, and neither will you!

Fawful: Fawful activate machine now!

Fawful activates the machine. However, it randomly sucks up his voice and spreads it in the form of a purple cloud. Every Koopaling but one is affected.

Ludwig: The greatness of your idiocy is FURIOUS! It gives me FURY!

Fawful: Fawful has an antidote! It in Fawful's room!

Ludwig: Ludwig thank Fawful. FURY!

Fawful: For the unfortunate, the dote of antiness only has the amount of fluid to enter the internal digestive organ of one ling of Koopas!

Koopaling not affected: So you're saying that there's only enough to fix one Koopaling?

Fawful: To you, I say yes!

Koopaling not affected: All right.

Unfortunately for Ludwig, the five other affected Koopalings were listening to the rambling.

???: To the vial of cureness I go!

So every Koopaling goes out of their rooms. However, the two Koopalings that had a green color scheme in their first game get furious and beat each other up. Then, another Koopaling goes down the hall and is attacked by Bundt, which is ironic due to the Koopaling's usual attraction to him and Raspberry. Another Koopaling defeats the Koopaling with a red shell. However, that Koopaling is defeated by the unaffected Koopaling, who usually beats him anyway.

Suddenly, Bowser activates his doomsmonth machine. Then, all of the Koopalings that are unconsious are awake again, and vice-versa. The two green Koopalings keep their fight going. This time, however, the older one wins. However, he trips over an unconsious brother. The youngest one left continues down the hall, but is defeated by the same person who defeated him last time. This person is then beaten by the youngest left. However, this Koopaling trips over Fawful's body. The final one left enters the room with the vial. However, he is defeated by the somehow conscious Koopaling that has not done anything yet. However, he is KO'ed by Fawful, who wake up from someone tripping over him. Finally, the Koopaling who hasn't attacked anyone wakes up, enters Fawful's room, KO's Fawful, and drinks the curing vial happily!
