One day, Kamek is getting very confused.

Kamek: What do I do? There's going to be no one for me to teach my magic to! Bowser won't listen, Clawdia's too busy, and the minions are too imcompetant. I WON'T stand for Kammy being better than me! I have to do something!

Suddenly, Bowser breaks into Kamek's room.

Bowser: Kamek, I know you've been up in this study for a very long time...

Kamek: YES I HAVE!

Bowser: Anyway, I'd like you to meet my kids.

Kamek: You have kids now?

Bowser: Yes. I'd like to introduce Larry!

Larry: Hi Kamek!

Bowser: Morton!

Morton: Hello, salutations, hola, hi, hey...

Bowser: Wendy!

Wendy: Hello! Like my new bow?

Kamek: I couldn't care less.

Wendy: Well, I NEVER!

Bowser: Iggy!

Iggy: I love magic. Teach me!

Bowser: Roy!

Roy: Got anything to make me beat up Iggy better?

Bowser: Lemmy!

Lemmy: Hi Kamek! I've heard about you in many submissions!

Bowser: And last, Ludwig!

Ludwig: Hello Kamek! I hope your intellegence is equivilent to the complexity of mine!

Bowser: Anyway, I'd like one to be your apprentice. Just tell me, right now!

Kamek thinks for a while.

Kamek: Although I could pick favorites from the one-liners that they all gave me, I don't think I could pick one as my apprentice... yet. Tomorrow, I'll force them to go through a few brutal trials. The first one that can defeat all of them will be my apprentice. Those who finish after will be the runner-up in case the first one cannot become my apprentice immediately.

Bowser: I love that idea! Pain, trickery, and trials! We'll all be here tomorrow at this time. Good day, Kamek!

Bowser and his kids leave. Kamek spends the rest of the day creating his ultimate trials.

Kamek: That should do it!

Kamek goes to bed. However, the Koopalings don't! The sneakiest one sneaks into the trial door and takes photos of the first trial. Then, another sends in their Super Mario World secret miniboss, who takes a picture of the second trial. However, after giving its Koopaling the picture, the aftershock from the photo's light catches up with him and he dies, unnoticably.

The next day, the Koopalings are ready to take Kamek's challenge.

Kamek: Now, if any Koopaling attacks another Koopaling, they will be taken out by my 16 invisible Reznors. Also, if anyone decides to skip a trial, they will share the same punishment. BEGIN!

The seven Koopalings enter a completely blank room. Suddenly, seven Chain Chomps come out of nowhere and each start attacking a Koopaling. The Koopa prepared for this assult uses sleeping gas to stop his Chomp. He progresses to the next challenge with no problems. However, he gets trapped in a spider web in the next room. The third oldest Koopaling defeats the Chomp quickly, and slowly progresses. However, he is pleased to see the Koopaling slightly younger than him be eaten by a Chomp.

The Koopaling who's name is alphabetically after the Koopaling who was pleased finally clammed the Chomp down. That Koopa goes in the next room and slips through the web. The Koopa that is pleased follows. Then, the Koopaling who has the most Koopaling votes defeats the Chomp and gets through the webs. The oldest Koopaling still in the first challenge then gets through, but is slow on the webs. Finally, the last Koopaling left in the first room gets through, and beats the other one getting through the webs to the third trial.

The first Koopaling to get to the third trial is shoved out of the way by the secod one, who is taken out by Kamek's Reznor. The one after him is surprised to see a room full of spiked balls. He quickly passes this room and progresses to the next. The one who was prepared for the second trial just charges, but is wiped out by a spike ball. The Koopaling that got shoved continues on, and the one after slowly follows. The forst one in the next trial uses an attack that just helped Mr. Blizzard's Snowstorm. The last Koopaling to the third trial gets through the storm pretty quickly. The other Koopaling that hasn't been mentioned for the fourth trial until now gets through. The other one goes through. The final trial is speedily accomplished by the oldest Koopaling remaining. The youngest one left finishes after the first one finishes with the final trial. The other one falls down a hole.

Kamek: Well...

The Koopaling that won is shot down by the runner-up.

Kamek: Well, I guess that you are my apprentice!

???: Hooray!
