“Hey, I bet that I can beat Mario before you!” said Iggy to Wendy.

“I bet I can beat Mario before any of you,” said Roy.

“Well, then it’s settled. The one who beats Mario will get 10 coins from each of us!” said Lemmy as they set out, one at a time. Little did they realize that Mario was waiting for them...

As a Koopaling was walking along, Mario, who was hiding in the bushes, shot a fireball at the Koopaling. However, the Koopaling did not seem affected, and kept walking. But as this Koopaling was looking around for Mario, they fell into a stream and fainted.

As Mario was hiding in another bush, he heard a Koopaling come by. He looked for footprints, but strangely, did not see any. Mario did not stop to think, he just walked along, and when he heard the Koopaling again, he hit him over the head with a plunger, knocking the Koopaling out.

Another Koopaling came along and was spotted by Mario. Mario shot a fireball, and the Koopaling fainted at the sight of fire.

Another Koopaling walked along, toying with something as he hit it with a wrench in his hand. Mario jumped out and startled the Koopaling, making him drop the wrench. The Koopaling pushed a button on the thing he was carrying, but it only blew up, and Mario hit him over the head with the wrench.

Mario soon jumped out at another Koopaling. This Koopaling took a swing at Mario with their fists, and barely missed. Mario punched the Koopaling, but it did not do much. The Koopaling took another swing, but Mario hit them on the head with the wrench, dazing them. Mario then fried them with a fireball.

As Mario waited for the next Koopaling, he did not realize that the Koopaling had snuck up behind him. The Koopaling, using his quick wit, was able to steal the wrench. Mario looked up and saw rainbow hair, and then the Koopaling hit Mario over the head with the wrench.

When the Koopaling got back to Castle Koopa with Mario, they took of the costume they were wearing when they knocked Mario out. “Hey King Dad! Look what I got!” said the Koopaling as they showed the unconscious Mario to Bowser.

“Good work, my child!” The winning Koopaling smiled, knowing he had won the bet.
