One day there was a very important party for a very important person on Plit. The seven Koopalings, their parents, pets, and cousin, the four playable characters in Mario 2, and Mr. Dino were invited. After a few hours, the very important person realized that a very important item was stolen. The 17 guests mentioned above were all prime suspects and were all hooked up to a magical lie-detector in a special room. Everyone was assigned a number according to a special pattern, and when their number was called that guest would be strapped to the machine.

The first guest to be called was a female pet, then came a father and then a mother. The fifth person’s favorite sport was baseball and the seventh was born in 1990. The eighth and ninth suspects were very close brothers but the tenth wasn’t related to either of them, nor the eleventh, who was a princess. An animal came next. Finally, when it was the thirteenth guest’s turn, loud beeping noises were heard from the machine. That guest finally admitted to stealing the very important thing.
