Mario and Luigi had made it into Castle Koopa, but one Koopaling had told Bowser they were there. Bowser told the Koopalings to go stop Mario and Luigi, by all means possible. The youngest Koopaling made it there first. He attacked Mario but was caught off guard byLuigi. The duo managed to knock him out, but when they weren't looking a really cool Koopaling put the freeze on Luigi. Now that Luigi was out, it was up to Mario. Mario took out his Fire Flower and began shooting fireballs at the Koopaling, who ran off scared. Out of nowhere, a Koopaling who had no fear of fire jumped out and attacked Mario. Mario shot fire at him but he managed to dodge most of it, and the ones that did hit him were  no match for his tolerance to heat. Mario pushed him into a warp pipe to Water Land, the land that this guy liked the least.

Mario continued on until he reached the dining room. It was a nice change after being inthat basement. All of a sudden, a tough Koopaling jumped and made the floor shake. He used his latest invention, but missed Mario. Mario then punched him square in the face and knocked him out. 'Down to three,' Mario thought to himself. He shouldn't have dropped his guard, though, because he was then hit in the back of the head by a flying Koopaling. It turned out to be a rather weak Koopaling, and he appeared to be knocked out. Mario thought that one of his siblings must have knocked him out and used him as a weapon. Then all of a sudden, a strong Koopaling jumped at Mario frombehind and the weak Koopaling from before jumped at him too. It had been a trick. Mario moved out of the way and the big one crushed the small one, knocking him out. Then Mario knocked out the strong Koopaling.

Mario moved into the hallway and met up with the last Koopaling. This Koopaling was eating sweets at the time. The Koopaling jumped up and ran at Mario. Mario just knocked this Koopaling out. Meanwhile, a Koopaling who was knocked out woke up. He ran to the hallway and shot Mario with his wand, turning him into his favorite food. He then left to go make a sandwich with this popular sandwich ingredient. But, before he could, a really big Koopa took Mario and began to laugh.
