It was a dark and stormy night. The Koopa Family was down to their last three candles. While Bowser was still thinking of a plan to kidnap Princess Peach, all of the Koopalings were in the dungeon for, once again, failing to kidnap the princess. It's not like King Dad did anything successful anyway! thought the Koopalings. One of the Koopalings decided that this was the final straw, so that Koopaling was going to get revenge on Bowser.

As Bowser finished his plan, the candle was blown out by the wind from the window. Suddenly, he found himself in a struggle with one of his Koopalings. Bowser saw who it was from a flash of lightning and ran to the two Earth Time Clocks Ludwig invented. He made a modification to them before he got knocked out. The suspect heard footsteps, so the Koopaling ran out of the room, knewing that he had run out of time.

Later, Bowser woke up in his bedroom with a horrible headache. It was so horrible that he forgot about the Koopaling that beat him up. However, one of the guards decided to solve it so that he might get a promotion. He went to the place where Bowser had been hatching up his plan. He noticed that the blueprints to his plan were scribbled and the Earth Time Clocks stopped at certain times. One clock read 12:15:00 and the other clock read 1:25:15. After some thought, he found out that this clue was the answer to who knocked out Bowser!
