Once again you found out another thing. Well guess what? It’s not my fault. It’s all O’Chunks’s fault in the first place that goo got freed. Anyway, you want to know more about Bleck’s good friend. It all started a few 1,000 years ago.

Nastasia was born in the Bitlands. Her family was rather poor. Her family was very strict and Nastasia was expected to take care of her 10 little brothers and sisters. Like her parents, she was strict and gave out harsh punishments when her brothers and sisters disobeyed. She was actually very attractive back then- Ow! O’Chunks, get out of here! An ugly and conceited old witch lived in the Bitlands. She claimed she held the most beauty but when she asked the common people they claimed they’d seen WAY better. Angered by this, the witch went to hunt this person down and found out it was Nastasia. The witch kidnapped her in the dead of night and took Nastasia to her lair. Once there, Nastasia begged for mercy but the witch ignored her plea and placed a curse on her. “This curse shall only be removed by kindness and love, but who would show that to a bat? Ah ha ha ha ha ha!” The witch’s magic turned Nastasia into a bat and then the witch locked her in a trap. She placed her in Dot Wood forest just in case so no one could rescue her. Nastasia screeched for help but no one came to her aid… for a while…

For a couple of months Nastasia survived on any bugs that came near her and was very distraught. Finally, at midnight during a full moon a stranger walked by, his monocle giving of a sparkle from the moonlight. She screeched for help and caught the attention of the stranger. He gave her a look but then scoffed. “Count Bleck has no time to help such helpless creature. Count Bleck has more important things to… do… ”. Nastasia started screeching some more but Count Bleck was just thinking of his loving and caring Timpani. “Why would that matter? Anyone with a heart would go and help an injured soul… ” Those words echoed through Count Bleck’s sad heart. He sighed and helped Nastasia escape the trap. “Anything for you, Timpani… ” muttered Count Bleck, and went on his way.

Nastasia was happy to finally be freed and followed Count Bleck. Count Bleck setup a little tent and went to sleep in it. He had been searching for countless years and barely rested. Now he slept until he heard a noise. Count Bleck looked aside and saw Nastasia as the way she is today except the glasses. “Kind sir… you have saved me. Please allow me to repay the favor.”

“Count Bleck asks who are you?” asked Count Bleck, mildly intrigued.

“I am Nastasia, sir… uh Count Bleck. Please allow me to swear my loyalty to you. I can help you… ” said Nastasia, a bit uneasy.

Count Bleck reached inside his cape and took out the Dark Prognosticus. He hadn’t look at the accursed book since the destruction of his world. “You may assist Count Bleck… Nastasia,” said Count Bleck staring at the book. Nastasia got a smile on her face and nodded. They slept that night and Nastasia’s feelings for the Count, her savior, started to ferment.

They spent quite a number of years going through dimension and dimension looking for something. To Nastasia’s dismay it was for a girl that Count Bleck loved. She tried her best to help him, mostly stuff like asking locals if they’ve seen her or not. During their travels Count Bleck went back to the home of new Ancients. However they were in the middle of the war. Nastasia proved to be able to convince people that Bleck was no threat despite the fact they could sense darkness in him. In the end the Ancients were fighting against the Pixl “Queen” and fled while Count Bleck rescued Mimi. Mimi and Nastasia quickly became good friends. Later on they were at another war-torn place except one side was easily winning. O’Chunks joined and Nastasia made another friend. Finally, once Bleck had finally given up hope I joined the troupe, but apparently Nastasia didn’t fully trust me…

Before the events of Super Paper Mario, Nastasia was practicing her leadership skills and her suggestive powers. Soon it got to the point that anyone who would glimpse of her eyes would be hypnotized. Count Bleck was very impressed by this as even he would sometimes be caught off-guard by the hypnotic stare. She was good at hypnosis but couldn’t control it. Count Bleck used the powers granted him by the Dark Prognosticus to make her special glasses to help her control her power. All she had to do is merely lift her glasses and her powerful hypnosis would be unleashed on the victim.

You all should know what happened during the events of Super Paper Mario. She created Mr. L, gave the Count updates on the progress of everything, and nearly got killed by yours truly. She found the joys of being a secretary during this time and started talking all funny. After Count Bleck’s disappearance she was distraught again for a while. Then he came back, then I… did something… then I was defeated, and then I lived with them. Nastasia was happy to be back at Castle Bleck and even happier to see the Count again. I don’t see what’s so great about him…

She likes me but doesn’t like me at the same time. She appreciates that without me, all of us wouldn’t have gotten united back at Castle Bleck, but she hates me for causing mischief and almost ending her game. She really dislikes Count Blàck, mostly for the fact he tries to make Count Bleck miserable. She treats everyone else like family since now we are the only family she has. Nastasia knows it’s best that Bleck and Timpani be together, she just hopes to learn to love again and if not, well, she knows she can’t measure up to Timpani. Still, everyone loves her neat, organizational ways. Even I admit I’d be at some loss without her…
