This guy is the root of all troubles in the world. He wrecked Star Road, he sent all his followers to retrive the Star Pieces, he had them cause a ton of trouble, and he was going to fill the world with nothing but weapons and take it over completely. Mario and friends defeated him and repaired the Star Road. I guess a few thanks are in order to him, since if Exor didn't hit Bowser's Keep, the Princess would've been rescued right away, Mallow might've NEVER gotten his coin back, Bowser would've thought up another plan right away, Booster would be lonely, Valentina would rule Nimbus Land forever, Mallow would never find his true family or heritage, and no one would've become friends.

Smithy was programmed to make a world filled with weapons and destroy wishes. He had lots of weapons to begin with and could disguise himself. One day he sent his sword to destroy Star Road. It landed in Bowser's Keep. Smithy already had one Star Piice but needed all the others and sent out minions to get them. Smithy's plans to fill the world with weapons were stopped thanks to Mario and others. No one knows what he does now.

He grabbed one piece of Star Road but Mario, Mallow, Geno, Bowser, and Peach foiled his plans. After Smithy was defeated all was back to normal in Mario's World. Smithy only appeared in Super Mario RPG.
