Like WK and Capricorn, Ste Goomba is a hybrid created by Kamek when he was working for SOSE (the Scientific Organization of Strange Elements). He is a Steel Goomba who is completely red and has two yellow notches under each of his eyes, and was one of the three mugged by the Shadow Queen.

After the Shadow Queen, Ste sold Orbs in Bowser's Enchanted Inferno, but was fired for requesting one-fifth of the normal price. Ste then moved to Lavalava Island and studied the Martial Arts.

Ste is both blessed and cursed with the powers of fire, which can melt anything in its path. But, like Capricorn, he faced a foe too powerful for him: The Master.

Ste defeated both Lee and Chan with no sweat, but after The Master turned into his final form, Ste was outmatched, and returned to Lavalava Island to hone his skills.

The Yoshis on the island respect Ste, and Ste often has talks, shares meals, and has friendly battles with them.
