Backstory: Descended from one of Koopa's old beer buddies, John was born on Earth as a human child. Nothing about his Earth life is known (as he won't tell anyone on Plit), other than the fact that he found a warp pipe in his basement. On Plit, he assumes the Koopa guise described above in order to maintain a low profile. Because of the many Earth scientists out to study his varied strengths, and the Koopa guards who don't like intruders, he is rarely seen. He has been known to swim around Water Land and sunbathe in Desert Land or shop around for milkshakes in the underground malls in Pipe Land, but is never around long enough to speak to. Only Morton Koopa, Jr. ever got to talk to him (guess we know why he's so quiet now, if that was his first Koopa conversation), and Lemmy showed him his Freeze Gun, which scared him off, so it's assumed that he is weak to ice magic and loud noises. He wears mirrored shades when he's outside to protect his eyes from that awful sunlight (unfortunately, it doesn't protect anything else of his, should the thing start swooping down). John runs an agency on Plit that gets Mario characters into Interviews in Lemmy's Land, but he disappears once the deals are finalized...
