Bowser's elite, Flutter had a change of heart after seeing his King's ruthlessness first-hand. Flutter was just
a sergeant when he and Mario first met in Mario RPG. Now a general, Flutter is determined to overthrow
Bowser and restore honor to the Koopa race.

Lieutenant General (***) Jagger is Flutter's right-hand Koopa. He was a new recruit in the Koopa Troop
when Smithy took over. Terrified, Jagger ran away and joined Jinx's dojo in Monstro Town. Jagger trained
hard and began to contemplate returning to the Koopa Troop. However, he changed his mind when a
Bob-omb battalion flying the banner of the Koopa Troop marched on Monstro Town and began wreaking
havoc. Jagger now feels betrayed by Bowser and the entire Koopa Troop, and he is out for revenge.

Notable Physical Features: Jinx is incredibly small with a tall green feather sticking out from the top of his

Jinx is a mysterious figure with no known origin. His past, his motivations, and his loyalties are known only to
himself. He is respected, admired, and at the same time feared by his pupils because, as his pupils say,
"he talks like a sage and hits like a cannonball!"

Name: Goomb
Age: 35

Species: Goomba
Affiliation: Monstro Town, civilian shop owner
Notable Physical Features: He's... a Goomba. Enough said, right?

Goomb, like everyone else in Monstro Town, was once a member of the Koopa Troop. Goomb left when
Bowser first began heavily raiding the Mushroom Kingdom, seeking a simpler life. For a while, he was
convinced he had found it. Then, one day, Bowser and Mario appeared in his shop buying weapons. Goomb
managed to hide his shock long enough to make a sale, but he knew that if Bowser knew he was here, it
wouldn't be long before he attacked the AWOL Koopa Troops of Monstro Town. Even though Bowser acted
nice enough during his time in the shop, Goomb was suspicious that it was an act designed to appease
Mario & co. Goomb was the only one prepared when Bowser's Bob-omb battalion marched on Monstro
Town, and because of his vigilance, his shop was undamaged.

Name: Flatton
Age: 186 (Thwomps live long lives)
Height: 7'
Species: Thwomp
Affiliation: Monstro Town rebels
Notable Physical Features: Stone is chipped under left eye

Bio: Major General (**) Flatton, the commander of Flutter's heavy infantry, is the only Thwomp ever to
escape from Bowser's control. His motives for assisting Flutter are two-fold: he is eager to restore free will
to the spirits trapped in stone in Bowser's castle (Thwomps, Thwimps, Whomps, etc), and because he loves
a good fight. Flatton, in addition to being a tactical genius, fancies himself a poet. He claims to have been an
important military commander in a past lifetime. Since Thwomps are ghosts trapped in stone, he may actually
have been during his life, though no one really knows.

Name: Hover
Age: 25

Notable Physical Features: Purple shell

Bio: Hover was assigned to a remote outpost during his days in the Koopa troop. That outpost's purpose
was Yoshi's Island surveillance. While doing a routine watch of Yoshi's Island, Hover noticed something
peculiar happening on the shore facing the Valley of Bowser. Investigating more closely, he found to his
horror that it was Bowser and Clawdia leaving a baby Koopa alone on the beach (see Jazzman von Koopa's
bio). In shock that his leader could do something like this, Hover began to question everything he had ever
been told about the Koopa Troop. In the end, he was forced to accept that Bowser was corrupt and twisted.
Hover then decided his only option was to leave. Eventually, he found his way to Monstro Town. Now a
Major General (**) in Flutter's malcontents, he is determined to rid the Koopa Troop of Bowser and all his
evil influence.
