Appearance: Has a large, purple Piranha Plant head with yellow petals on it. Has a green, dinosaur-like body and and brown sphere at the end of his tail.

Biography: Dino Piranha is a giant, dinosaur-like Piranha Plant that resided in the Good Egg Galaxy. He was once just a normal Piranha Plant, but due to exposure to radioactive gasses, his genes were scrambled and he mutated into a dinosaur form. He was actually very happy with this mutation, as it allowed him to walk and made him a lot more powerful. Dino Piranha freely roamed the Good Egg Galaxy, and even became friends with King Kaliente after he fended off some Chomp Heads from his territory. But there was one Magikoopa in the Good Egg Galaxy who disliked Dino Piranha, specifically because he got trampled by him. And when you're trampled by a dinosaur, it HURTS! So when Dino Piranha was on a small planet, the Magikoopa cast a spell to seal it inside an eggshell. He stayed like this for about 2 months, until Mario came along and cracked the eggshell. Dino Piranha freed his legs and tail, but couldn't get the rest of his body out. Mario then did a Star Spin on the brown sphere on his tail, cracking open the egg. Sensing a threat, Dino Piranha charged at Mario, but Mario was able to defeat him by hitting his tail several times. Dino Piranha was free of the eggshell, but he was KO'd. He regained conciousness a few hours later, and fled the Good Egg Galaxy in fear.

Dino Piranha wandered the galaxies, trying to find a suitable galaxy for him. He came across the Melty Molten Galaxy, and found the hot climate rather pleasing. He stayed mostly on a small planet in the galaxy, also building an egg to protect him from unforeseen threats. One time he was shuffling along other parts of the Melty Molten Galaxy when he fell in to the lava. He managed to climb back out on to the land, but he was severly burnt all over. After a few days, he found that the lava had changed his color. He was also set on fire every few moments. Reminded of his mutation, he wanted to keep himself this way to provide better offense, and renamed himself Fiery Dino Piranha. He put this to use when he was in his eggshell, and Mario cracked it open the same way he did in their first battle. Fiery Dino Piranha was noticably tougher, as he spat fire and left a trail of flames. Additionally, Mario could only Star Spin into his tail when it wasn't on fire. But he could still manage to strike his tail at the right moments, until Dino Piranha was knocked out again. Fiery Dino Piranha would have fled, but he liked and had grown used to the Melty Molten Galaxy's climate so much he decided to stay there. Though he sometimes visits the Good Egg Galaxy to see his friend King Kaliente, he spends most of his time happily roaming the Melty Molten galaxy.

Fun Facts:
- Dino Piranha's head and certain parts of his body resemble that of Petey Piranha's.
